What Is Chrysalis?
Chrysalis is an interdenominational three-day weekend event for christian youth and young adults. The mission to Chrysalis is simple: Empowering leaders through Chrysalis to be the hands and feet of Christ.
Started by the Upper Room in 1984, the three-day spiritual retreat provides an opportunity for christian teens and young adults to learn ore about faith, to experience Christian love and support, to worship, to pray, and to make new faith commitments.
A Chrysalis weekend is an experience of christian renewal and formation. It offers an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ in a new way where God's grace and love is revealed to you through others.
Chrysalis "Flights" are open to 10th through 12th graders (9th graders are eligible if the applicant is at least 15 years old). Chrysalis "Journeys" are open to young adults age 18 to 24.
